Lori Nickel

Director of First Impressions

Coffee and conversation starts here!

Lori joined the 401k Latte Company in October 2017, and has happily settled into her position as the Director of First Impressions. After 13 years of working as a journalist, she took a leap of faith and landed in the role that is well suited to her personality and skill set. Coffee and a conversation starts with her as she sees to it that all who visit feel welcomed and relaxed in the cozy surroundings of the 401k Latte office.

While she is responsible for many aspects of everyday office organization, she also assists Peter in documenting detailed client notes, correspondence with clients, and communicates to the team what follow-up actions Peter may recommend.

At home in Lonsdale

Lori lives in Lonsdale with her husband, Tony, and relishes the rare moments they can catch with their three college-aged children. She also enjoys time at home working in her flower gardens and playing with her dog, Simon, and cat, Pepper. Over the years, she has been very involved in the Lonsdale community and taken on many roles, including newspaper editor and substitute English teacher, in addition to serving on her church board, the Chamber of Commerce board of directors, and several school committees.

When asked what she's appreciated most during her time at the firm, Lori will tell you it is how well the 401k Latte team works together for the benefit of those they serve. The positive environment, sincerity of care and financial expertise are what they deliver every day,  helping clients achieve their financial goals.

She loves a good latte. Of course!

There aren't too many cups of coffee Lori doesn't like, so naming a favorite took time and taste testing. After giving it a great deal of consideration, the winner is ... a creamy latte made with coconut milk!
